To aunt marla, and family

During this time i want to give my deepest sympathy ,i cant believe my self that he's gone , i know i didnt get to see uncle dave much but i made sure i got updates everyday.and i'll never forget what he told me the last time we talked which was christmas day
"you take care of those kids and keep fighting for jack"and he held my hand very tight with his smile.
i'm going to miss hugging his big belly because he was so tall that is much as i can hug,i always tell him when i hug him he's like a big teddy bear and he would laugh. his big smile would light up a whole room and he would always make you feel welcomed.everytime i would go to the house with family he would of course take lots of pictures and i'm such a big fan and i love taking pics too.we would talk about all kinds of pics he has taken and i would always say oh i want your photo printer, and he said let me see what i can do and next thing i know we have a new computer and printer at home thats how awesome this man was and i was joking too but he knew how much i love taking pictures and he wanted me to have what he has and he always told me "take pictures no matter what they may look dumb but those are always the best"......
he has done so much for our family already and thanking you aunt marla too.you guys sure did make a good christmas for us and for helping with baby jack.
you will always and forever be in my heart uncle dave and aunt marla , love you and i will miss you uncle dave.
love always michelle wilson

Marla and family,

We're in K.C. and just learned of Dave's passing. You, Dave and your family are all in our prayers.
We are so proud to have counted you Marla, and Dave among our friends and business colleagues.

Dave lived an exemplary life as a Christian man, a family man and a business man and we know he will be greatly missed. We also know that when Dave's eyes closed here on earth, the opened in heaven.

God Bless.

Dear Marla and Joe
My Dave Altman Winnebago Inaugural April 2002 special guest clock was ticking above my computer screen as I read the shocking news about Dave. What a loss to everyone whose life he touched, but what a blessing and inspiration he will continue to be to us all.

Your blog reflects God's grace and comfort, thank you Joe for helping us through this tragedy. My heartfelt sorrow, love, prayers and God's peace to you both, your families and all Dave's friends,..
